      --------------------------
Welcome to the seventh annual Ojai Valley Century Bike Ride. Our management team incorporated many improvements to the 2007/8/9 rides and received many accolades from the event riders. We are striving to make this a ride of choice for the area and solicit any feedback you may have so that we may continue to improve the event each year. We look forward to seeing you on the ride and see why the Amgen Tour of California selected this route for Stage 6 in 2006, 2007, and 2008. We are fortunate to have the mix of flat, coastal, mountains, beautiful country and usually good weather all in one place.

RIDES:
Metric Century (62 miles/100km), Full Century (100 miles), Double Metric Century (124 miles/200km), and Hammer Head Century (101 miles with morning hillclimb) MAPS page. The markers on this page show the rest stops.

WEATHER: Expect the weather to vary greatly from the coast to the inland mountains and valleys. Typically in June, you can expect a marine layer along the coast, but this usually burns off quickly inland resulting in temperatures in the 80's and 90's. Be sure to dress accordingly, and carry at least the equivalent of two water bottles.

Each year we review comments and sugestions from the previous year and strive to continue to improve the ride.
2010 improvements:
*A jersey is available for purchase as well as a Tee-Shirt.
*Roving photgraphers especially at the Rose Valley Tunnel.

2009 improvements:
*Added new HammerHead Century route.
*The most significant improvement we sped the lunch lines from a single buffet line to several buffet lines.
*New bike racks at the rest stops.
*Maps and elevation plots included % grade.
*All maps are available for GPS download into your bike GPS unit.
*Roving photographers.
